Felicity Jones is a British actor who is best known for the role of Jane Hawking. She played her role on The Theory of Everything, that was critically acclaimed. Jones, who has been an actress since she was 12years old, has been a part of several TV and film series. Jones began her acting career by appearing in the television film The Treasure Seekers. She then played the role of Ethel Hallow another television show named The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. She also played Young Ruth in her first film Flashbacks of a Fool and then went on to star in a variety of films. Her acting made her famous for roles in movies like The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. It was however her character on The Theory of Everything' that won the actress an Oscar nomination the first time. The biopic was inspired by the life of physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones received a lot of praise from audiences and critics due to her superb performance as Hawking's wife. Inferno is an Tom Hanks thriller was her following part. Jones was awarded the British Artist of year award in 2016 from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles. The award was given for her extraordinary talents and her contribution to the film.
