David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is a famous American journalist, anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for his show World News Tonight. The program, which is characterized by its dramatic video footage celebrity gossip and animated movements has been voted the top broadcast in America. Made In America, his Emmy nominated show, is one of his other achievements. His predecessor Diane Sawyer was the anchor of ABC World News Tonight before taking it over. In recent years the anchor has been on numerous ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He has travelled around the globe to report on stories that concern Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He is the recipient of several Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Honors and Awards from the Associated Press.
