Ashley was born on the coast of San Clemente California on the 10th February 1987. As a young girl she began to learn how to surf before relocating from California to Hawaii. An old surfboard discovered in a garbage can outside her home helped her win a competition when she was 6. The year was 2005 when she was able to start surfing. The first time she won a contest, she was in her first competition at the age of 6. By the age 7, she received sponsorship. She was originally from San Clemente in California. Anastasia was baptized on February 10, 1997, in the southern part of California. She started surfing at the age of 5 prior to her move to Hawaii.
