Annie Mist Thorisdottir is an experienced professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also coaches and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is first woman who has won CrossFit Games in two consecutive seasons. She was second in both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media-star. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. She is also known for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie was raised in Iceland's Reykjavik area with her siblings and parents. Being an avid sportsman and exercising enthusiast since an early age, she took part in various school games and also won numerous awards. In 2009, she participated in CrossFit competitions held in California. Her first results were good. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 by 2021. Her height is 5'7" and she weighs approximately the 67-kg mark. Annie started her CrossFit journey in 2009, in California. In the initial games she was very successful and finished in the top 10 among 70. However, she didn't win a championship and concluded the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second place, and also won the silver medal same year. It was in her second year that she competed again in CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she became the first woman to be awarded CrossFit Games. Annie was the first female to ever win in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. The silver medal was awarded in 2014; and in 2021, she won a Bronze medal at the CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach as well as a trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. Annie was a well-known athlete after gaining recognition. She has been associated with many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydrolysis Sidekick Yerbae among others. She also has her own Youtube channel called "Annie", with over a thousand followers. The channel is the channel where she posts videos on the diet of her training, life with family and traveling.
